Cloud Infra Engineer
our client is looking for 2 Senior Cloud Infra Engineers to play a key role in a large-scale cloud transition to Microsoft Azure. In this role, you’ll design, build, and manage the Azure platform, actively contribute to migrating on-premises infrastructure to Azure, and help professionalise the cloud landscape—working closely with engineers, architects, and teams to deliver quality improvements. Your work is important because it directly enables a reliable, secure, and scalable Azure environment.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Cloud Infra Engineer, you’ll work within a Cloud Infra team responsible for designing, realising, and managing the Azure platform, supporting both migration efforts and ongoing improvements to the cloud environment.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments
• Demonstrable experience with cloud platform engineering
• Experience with VMware-to-Azure migrations
• Strong knowledge of Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience with CI/CD and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Azure networking, identity, and security
• Experience with governance, policies, and cost management
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and realise Azure infrastructure, including networking, identity, and platform services
• Work with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep
• Set up and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Implement policies, RBAC, and governance measures
• Improve monitoring, logging, and cost management
• Support migrations and ensure quality throughout delivery
• Act as a sparring partner for architects and other teams
Requirements:
• Right to work in the required employment context (ZZP-Only)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments
• Strong, demonstrated Terraform knowledge (IaC)
