Key Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Proven experience within the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of Credit, Lending and Risk Management processes.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process analysis and functional design.
- Experience or affinity with COBOL-based applications, Java integrations, APIs and system interfaces.
- Experience or affinity with process configuration, integration flows and data exchanges.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Structured and organised way of working.
- Ability to influence and challenge constructively.

Role Overview
The successful contractor will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Functional Analysts and Development teams. The position requires effective engagement with senior business and technology stakeholders across the organisation. It operates within a modern Agile working environment and follows a hybrid model based in Brussels, with 50% onsite and 50% remote working.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and validate business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications.
- Perform impact, dependency and risk assessments.
- Challenge stakeholders and support decision-making through structured analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Functional Analysts and Development teams.
- Support feature refinement and backlog preparation in an Agile environment.
- Define and review acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to feature testing, UAT preparation and business validation activities.
- Support incident analysis and resolution from a functional perspective.
- Facilitate communication between business and IT stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Proven experience within the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of Credit, Lending and Risk Management processes.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Fluent English.
- Fluent in either Dutch or French.
- Based in Brussels, Belgium, with 50% onsite and 50% remote working.
