PHP Developer

Role Overview:
This role is critical for the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems that support large digital platforms. You will contribute to the design and implementation of complex features, participate in architectural discussions, and collaborate closely with a technical team to deliver impactful solutions that meet demanding performance and scalability requirements.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience with PHP (Laravel or Symfony)
• Experience with or interest in Magento 2
• Knowledge of API’s, databases, Git, and modern web development
• Strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as Next.js and React (NL JS Next, NL JS React)
• Experience with PHP Magento2 development
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges
• Ownership mindset and proactive thinking
Key Responsibilities:
• Build custom functionalities, modules, services, and API logic in PHP
• Work with Magento 2, either with prior experience or with guided training provided
• Develop and optimize API integrations with ERP, PIM, fulfillment, and CRM systems
• Improve performance through caching, search functionalities, server configurations, and database structuring
• Collaborate with the team on architecture, modularity, and scalability
• Engage in working on high-traffic systems with significant technical and performance considerations
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and DevOps practices
Requirements:
• Right to work in the Netherlands
• Proficient in PHP, preferably with experience in Laravel or Symfony
• Familiarity or interest in Magento 2 development
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, and modern web technologies
• Residing within the Netherlands
• Willingness to learn and grow your expertise, particularly in Magento 2 if not already experienced
• Motivation, initiative, and drive to work on complex, impactful projects
This position is offered on a permanent basis, located on-site in the Netherlands, with hybrid work arrangements. The contract duration is 2 years, starting from 16/03/2026. The salary range is between €4,000 and €5,000 per month.
