Senior PHP Developer - (Data-Driven Platform)
The role
For a fast-growing, data-centric platform we are looking for a Senior PHP Developer who enjoys working on complex business logic, large datasets and long-term product development.
This is not a greenfield project, but a mature product that is actively evolving and scaling.
You will work closely with a small engineering team to improve and extend the core platform, with a strong focus on data quality, performance and maintainability.
The organisation
The organisation builds and maintains an online database for professionals working with commercial real estate data (office, retail and industrial).
Multiple datasets are cross-linked, enriched and made accessible through a single platform. The product is well-established, commercially successful and continuously improved based on real user demand.
The company has an informal culture and consists of a compact team of eight people, with short communication lines and direct collaboration between product, engineering and business.
Internationally, this business model has already proven its value.
What you’ll be working on

Developing and maintaining server-side PHP code at the core of the platform

Improving data models, business rules and processing logic

Optimising performance, scalability and data consistency

Contributing to technical decisions around infrastructure and architecture

Collaborating closely with other engineers as an equal sparring partner

Occasionally contributing to front-end related work when needed
You’ll be part of a compact engineering team (±4 developers) with short lines and high ownership.

At least 4 years of professional PHP experience

Compensation

Gross monthly salary: €4,000 – €6,000, depending on experience and skill set
